Dynamic and innovative police professional with over 35 years of law enforcement and public safety experience, which include various executive/leadership roles within the City of Tucson (AZ) Police Department and Seattle (WA) Police Department, where he retired as the Assistant Chief of Police. Served as the Emergency Preparedness Director in the City of Yakima, Washington, where he developed the city’s Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan and created the city government’s Continuity of Operations Plan. Extensive experience managing police and community relations, crime reduction, multi-level government coordination, transportation and infrastructure security, and domestic preparedness and response. Currently, the COO of Tri-9 Solutions LLC, providing subject matter expert opinion on officer involved shootings and police operations/tactics. Former NOBLE National President. He obtained his Master of Administration from Northern Arizona University and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy.
