Dedicated and proactive professional with over 25 years of criminal justice experience, including law enforcement and academia.  Her law enforcement background includes 7 years of police service with the Clermont Police Department, and a combined 15 years of service as a Reserve Police Officer with Lake Helen Police Department (Lake Helen, FL), Wildwood Police Department (Wildwood, FL), and Howey-in-the-Hills Police Department (HITH, FL).  She is currently the Academic Program Coordinator for Criminal Justice Programs, Walden University; a Consultant for law enforcement promotional assessments for IACP; an Executive Search Consultant; and a Law Enforcement Coach for Officers needing life/career coaching and stress/relationship management.  She obtained her Ph.D. and Master’s degrees in Criminal Justice/Behavior Sciences from Nova SW University, Ft. Lauderdale, FL.  Her professional affiliations include the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences; the Southern Criminal Justice Association; the International Association of Forensic Criminologists; and the International Association of Women Police.
